OUT NOW: English language teaching in Austria: From theory to the classroom and beyond

Edited by Jennifer Schumm Fauster and Ulla Fürstenberg, this book provides an overview over a range of topics in English Language Teaching with a special focus on Austria. It combines theory and practice as it is written collaboratively by practitioners and researchers and is intended as a practical guide and reference for pre-service teachers, practicing teachers, language teacher educators as well as academics working in the area of ELT. In the context of our project, the chapter “Teaching and learning Language Awareness”, written by Ulla Fürstenberg and Vida Bicman, is of particular interest and relevance, but far from the only one that provides interesting insights into English Language Teaching in Austria.

The book is openly available via unipub and can also be downloaded by following the link below: https://digital.obvsg.at/obvugruniver/download/pdf/8282170?originalFilename=true
