English as a Lingua Franca in Aktion: Ulla hatte viel Spaß, als sie die fantastischen Schüler:innen des Ceip GLORIA FUERTES in Villalbilla de Burgos (http://ceipgloriafuertes.centros.educa.jcyl.es/sitio/) besuchte und sich mit ihnen auf Englisch unterhielt.

English as a lingua franca in action: Ulla had a great time when she visited the fantastic students of Ceip GLORIA FUERTES in Villalbilla de Burgos ceipgloriafuertes.centros.educa.jcyl.es/sitio/ and chatted to them in English. The students had many interesting questions about free time activities, favourite sports, music and pets in Austria – and about marmots! For her part, Ulla learned that almost everybody at the school enjoys physical education and that rugby is big in Villalbilla. She also looked at displays of the students’ artwork and witnessed a talent contest. At the end of her visit, she was given a special pilgrim’s shell. She also talked to teachers at the school about a possible cooperation with LEAP. Thank you to the principal and staff, and hope to see you soon!
